The Challenge
Discount Candle Supplies had outgrown their existing website. Built quickly and without a clear direction, it had become a mismatched, outdated storefront that didn't reflect the quality of a serious trade supplier — and it was costing them sales. The product catalogue was difficult to navigate, the design lacked credibility with wholesale buyers, and there was no way to track bulk stock levels internally, meaning the team were managing oil inventories from barrels manually with spreadsheets.
What We Did
We rebuilt the site from the ground up in WordPress and WooCommerce — clean, trade-focused design with a layout built around how wholesale buyers actually shop. Product pages were restructured for clarity, with professional imagery and clear bulk pricing. We developed a custom stock management tool within WordPress that allows the team to track remaining quantities from barrel stock — logging draws against each oil so they always know what's left without leaving the dashboard. The result is a site that looks the part, functions as a proper trade platform, and has the internal tooling to support how the business actually operates.
