The Challenge
A promotional clothing business required an in house system for corporations to order direct. They were manually placing orders previously. They needed their own internal ordering platform. Each client — whether a sports club, charity event, corporate supplier, or multi-department leisure business — had entirely different requirements: different staff roles, different approval workflows, different payment setups, and different uniform ranges. Building and managing a separate website for each organisation wasn't viable. They needed a single infrastructure that could power multiple bespoke platforms simultaneously, each feeling entirely self-contained to the end user.
What We Did
We architected and built a WordPress Multisite platform that gives each organisation its own fully independent ordering environment — branded, configured, and managed separately, but running on shared infrastructure that the company controls centrally. Each subsite is built around bespoke staff role logic, so an employee sees only the products and options relevant to their department or membership tier. Payment and ordering options are configured per-organisation, accommodating everything from open member purchases to internal budget codes. Organisations served range from sports clubs managing kit orders for members, to charities running branded event clothing for participants, to large leisure businesses coordinating uniform ordering across 20+ departments with varying requirements. We continue to support the platform with monthly maintenance, technical development as the client network grows, and ongoing strategy to develop the proposition further.
Chris was fundamental in developing the idea of our internal procurement platform. We told him the issues we had and he planned out how we could overcome them. We now have a robust system that allows us to approach bigger corporate clients for staff uniform ordering and more.
