The Challenge
Sunshine for the Soul is a unique beauty salon in Thornton offering 100% organic treatments and energy healing alongside more traditional services like CACI. Their existing online presence didn't reflect the quality or distinctiveness of what they offer — and in a local market where customers search by treatment and location, not being visible in Google's local results meant losing bookings to less specialist competitors. They also had no way to promote and manage group bookings for events like sound baths and healing sessions.
What We Did
We built a new website that properly communicates the salon's unique positioning — organic, holistic, and distinct from a standard beauty salon — while remaining clear and easy to navigate for someone simply searching for a local treatment. We set up and fully optimised their Google Business Profile, covering categories, services, photos, and review strategy, and carried out on-page SEO work targeting local search terms across their treatment range. The result includes a #1 position in the Google Map Pack for CACI in Thornton, and first-page visibility for natural and organic beauty searches in the area. We also built a bespoke event portal allowing them to list, promote, and take bookings for group sessions including sound baths and healing events — opening up a revenue stream that wasn't previously manageable through the site.
